Single Session Therapy

SST is an evidence based approach which provides a focused 3.5 hour session to quickly clarify current life challenges, goals, gain insight and walk away with practical strategies that can be applied immediately.
Although SST is not a substitute for the benefits of ongoing psychological therapy, it can be ideal for those short on time and seeking seeking to tackle a specific mental health or relationship challenge in the most efficient way possible.
This type of session is ideal for individuals, couples or families, it is structured and collaborative, it draws upon a blend of solution focused brief therapy, humanistic principles, CBT techniques, motivational interviewing and crisis intervention strategies to achieve measurable outcomes within one appointment.
Schema Therapy

Schema therapy is a form of psychotherapy that helps people change deep-seated patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving that are based on early life experiences.
Schema therapy focuses on identifying and modifying early maladaptive schemas (self-defeating emotional and cognitive patterns) and schema modes (moment-to-moment emotional states) that are thought to underlie chronic psychological disorders.
The goal is to help patients develop healthier schemas and coping strategies to improve their interpersonal relationships and overall functioning.
