Services

​

For optimal results new clients are recommended to book the 3 hour session to begin with, to allow time for full assessment and treatment planning. Future ongoing sessions can be booked as either 2 or 3 hour sessions, with frequency between each session depending on client personal preference. 

Sessions are provided by Nicola Deeney (Hons Bsc Psych, Hons BA Social Work).  With over 20 years in practice, Nicola is advanced in skill and knowledge and has an outstanding reputation as one of the best psychotherapists in Perth.  

 

​Sessions draw on her experience and time tested approach which includes the provision of deep and meaningful assessment of client life history from birth to current time, an evaluation of historic and current difficulties and any patterns that might be holding back from change. Each client is offered a treatment plan and choice of therapy which is tailored to individual need. The therapy itself is provided with a level of skill and knowledge that will often result in a significant emotional shift from the very first session.

Mental Health Care Plan​

A Mental Health Care Plan is a type of referral which is provided by an assessing GP or psychiatrist to any patient presenting with a diagnosed mental health disorder who would benefit from psychological therapy.   

 

Medicare

​

The mental health care plan allows patients to claim Medicare rebate for up to 6 -10 sessions of therapy per calendar year.
 

​Clients who have a MHCP will still require to pay full session fee at time of each session in clinic and can use the receipt from clinic to claim the rebate.  The clinic can help with submitting the claim to Medicare on client's behalf if preferred to make things easier.

Please note that the clinic is a private healthcare service and is separate from Medicare, the clinic is therefore unable to advise patients on entitlement to individual Medicare rebate amounts, out of pocket costs, safety net amounts or patient bank account details etc.  For these types of enquiries please contact Medicare directly via telephone on 132 011, to assist with your enquiries please note the Medicare item number used in clinic is 80160.

Self Referral

Self referrals without a GP letter are welcomed and can be made by filling in the contact form below.

Payment/Deposit

​

For new clients 50% deposit is required to secure the first booking, admin will send bank transfer details to make payment at time of booking, receipt for deposit will be sent to your email. 
 

Payment for remainder of session following deposit is made in person on day of appointment via eftpos.

Cancellation Policy

​

Cancellations made with less than 3 business days notice will incur a charge equivalent to full session fee and will forfeit any deposit paid.
